Lynxeo FLAMEX® on-board of Skoda Metro in Varsovia

For many years Škoda Group relies on Lynxeo FLAMEX® cable solutions. Another milestone in this collaboration is reached with the supply of metro train sets 🚇 for Varsovia city operator Metro Warszawskie Sp. z o.o.. Both parties have signed a contract for the supply of 37 metro train sets with an option for 8 additional trains and a simulator for staff training. The first six-car metro set manufactured in Pilsen is already running without passengers for test run during the night.

This new generation of metro is equipped with Lynxeo FLAMEX® cables which reach the most stringent fire safety requirements acc. to EN 45545-2. Protected against electromagnetic disturbances, FLAMEX® Control and Communication cables ensure the reliability of the passenger information system and on board train management solutions. These products are designed to withstand electromagnetic disturbances ensuring the continuous flow of data with the active systems.
